SCROLL DOWN

Bonsai Culture

Curated Design

We are quite fond of the Bonsai tree. Get this. We understand it as the perfection of an idea of an idea. It is both a tree and the curated idea of a tree. It brings the full scale 'tree' to a human scale. Bonsai is the nurturing of line, form, color, space, balance and texture.

The Bonsai is the symbol of our design culture. It is curated. It is natural. It is full of empathy. It is the exact blend of nature and human will that produces something of beauty. It is the perfection of an idea. It's not growth, it is about perfection.

Mogotani Fast builds cultures where ideas are nurtured into perfection.

Chris Svensrud

This dude is a unique mix of physical scientist and creative artist. Chris received a degree in Physics, worked for a while in Silicon Valley on lasers and moving quanta of light. Since then he has spent most of his time in the outdoors dreaming up ideas for people of the future.

He has a passion for connecting consumer insights and exploring unchartered territory to create truly new product opportunities.  A great example is spearheading the creation of a ‘Mobile Design Studio on Wheels” in partnership with Winnebago based on research methodologies learned at Bonnaroo music festival.

Identifying and addressing user need was the driving force behind the founding of Nook Sleep Systems. By combining science and technology with innovative marketing to meet the goal of repositioning the infant mattress as the most considered purchase a new parent is to make. At its release Metropolis magazine cited The Pebble Mattress as innovative enough to have a lasting impact on society. This company was a bold collaborative effort between our husband and wife team and 72 and Sunny (named most innovative company 2015 by Fastcompany).
